Rhonda – Worship
Rhonda Funk has been at Three Sisters Fellowship since September 2009.
Serving as Worship Director, her responsibilities include overseeing music, sound, and media ministries including team building in all these areas. Each week the worship team practices on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm. Outside of the regular worship schedule, Rhonda also organizes a community worship night called AWE (Absolute Worship Experience), that consists of team members from several churches around Central Oregon.
Rhonda has been married to her husband Willie for 13 years, and between the two of them they have four children: Shelby, Mariah, Ryan, and Rylee. She gave her heart to the Lord after some serious life trials at the age of 26. As a singer/songwriter she has been in ministry for 12 years traveling the nation and sharing her testimony. In that time she has been able to produce three independent CD projects and is the author of a new children’s series that teaches Biblical values to kids.
“God clearly told me at one point in my life to quit worrying about where my own personal ministry might be headed, and to lift the eyes of the people unto Him,” says Rhonda. ”It was then I was fully able to lay down my gifts and talents. In that my passion has grown to see God’s people worship Him with all their hearts, with all their souls, and with all their strength.”
“My prayer is that God would manifest His power in our praises, and that people would sing not because they love music, but because they love God and cannot get enough of Him!”
